Checking out your patients when you have multiple fee schedules can be a hassle. Especially when training new front desk personnel. InPhase simplifies the process. When checking out a patient with InPhase the program checks the patients file type to see if a special fee schedule exists for that particular file type. If one does exist then that fee is brought into the checkout otherwise the base fee schedule is used. Because the software does this for you automatically all the front desk person has to do is know what procedure code was used. This greatly cuts down on errors at checkout with the wrong fee schedule being applied, especially when you have new or untrained staff at the front desk.

To further simplifiy the process InPhase has customizable buttons in the checkout screen that can be programmed by you, for your most frequently used codes, to enter a particular charge, payment type or inventory item.

Another feature to improve the checkout process is the ability to checkout several patients at once. Very useful for checking out entire families. This even works if each family member has a different fee schedule. The appropiate fee schedule will be applied to each family member lending you to an easy, error free checkout.
